The book Pattern Colour and Form arrived today! Certainly an amazing source of inspiration. Various artists are featured, I particularly like Jane Arkwright an Abstract Painterand Jeannette Appleton.It inspired me to go and take more photos and do some...

Patchwork and Crepes

What a great afternoon out with the girls... well, Laurence and Dawn... to see a Patchwork exhibition at the Maisons des Associations in Toulouse... Although traditional patchwork is not really my thing I admire all the time and patience people must spend...

New year Weavings

. Had a fun few hours making paper weavings this afternoon inspired by Gwen Headley's new book Drawn to Stitch strips of drawn marks and magazine pages. I've started to encorporate some basic stitch into with a print of the weaving
