Another Flying Visit

Yet another whistlestop trip to the UK, this time with Elio my son! He loved the plane, bus and train to get there (his mum was rather exhausted)... and still enough enthusiasm left to enjoy a welcome cuddle from nanny and grandad!

Despite misty weather we got out to the beaches a lot; first for throwing pebbles at Budleigh Salterton and then for a paddle and sandcastles at Dawlish.

   

I even got to have a few hours away ... so pleased to have made it to Janet Edmonds and Pat Claytons exhibition "Beyond the Surface"... amazing work related to the sea and coast.  Even got the chance to speak to Pat herself who was very inspiring.  Popped in on the Devon Guild of Craftsmen at Bovey Tracey on the way back for even more inspiring work.. wow!
